Records and Transcripts
I only have unofficial copies of my high school transcript. Will George Mason accept these to complete my application?
George Mason requires official transcripts to consider an application complete. Please request that your high school send an official copy to the university.Ìý

Will George Mason accept English proficiency tests (TOEFL, IELTS, SAT/ACT, and Duolingo) administered at home due to COVID-19?
Yes. George Mason will accept TOEFL, IELTS, SAT/ACT, and Duolingo English Test examinations taken at-home due to COVID-19, or in accordance with the testing agency’s guidance, as official.
The change in testing format does not change the score requirements, which are listed on our .Ìý
When will my transfer credit be evaluated?
If you have taken college-level credit either as credit by exam (ex. AP, IB) or as High School Dual Enrollment, your transfer credit will be evaluated should you be admitted and once you submit your enrollment deposit to George Mason.
