Maria Wilkins, coordinator of Health Professions Advising in the Office of Undergraduate Education, is January Employee of the Month.

James Antony became provost and executive vice president at George Mason Ģ��AV on July 1. He comes to George Mason from the Ģ��AV of California San Diego where he served as Dean of Graduate Education and Postdoctoral Affairs. Prior to that he was a faculty member and administrator at the Ģ��AV of Washington, Yale Ģ��AV, and Harvard Ģ��AV.

To better assist Mason’s expanding research activities and provide enhanced support to faculty, the Research Administration Management Portal (RAMP) project will soon introduce a handful of new, easy-to-use tools. In the coming months, new “modules” will assist with managing research involving human subjects, streamlining payroll reporting, overseeing animal care, and adhering to export regulations.

The Global Education Office is reimagining and redesigning its vision while it prepares students for success in an increasing international and interconnected world and expands Mason’s global footprint.

After a thorough and collaborative process led by the Office of the Ģ��AV Registrar and the Faculty Senate, George Mason Ģ��AV has modified its four-year academic calendar, delaying the start of the fall 2024 semester by one week, among other changes.

Anne Osterman has been appointed as dean of the Ģ��AV Libraries and university librarian.
