    James Antony became provost and executive vice president at George Mason ĢAV on July 1. He comes to George Mason from the ĢAV of California San Diego where he served as Dean of Graduate Education and Postdoctoral Affairs. Prior to that he was a faculty member and administrator at the ĢAV of Washington, Yale ĢAV, and Harvard ĢAV.

    To better assist Mason’s expanding research activities and provide enhanced support to faculty, the Research Administration Management Portal (RAMP) project will soon introduce a handful of new, easy-to-use tools. In the coming months, new “modules” will assist with managing research involving human subjects, streamlining payroll reporting, overseeing animal care, and adhering to export regulations.
