Biography
Dr. Hashem is a Full Professor of Information Sciences and Technology at George Mason Ä¢¹½AV. His professional and research interest includes cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, cyber policies and strategies, and management of information security. He has co-authored an edited book, 5 published book chapters, over 60 professional reports, and refereed articles in international journals and conference proceedings, with more than 2600 citations. Dr. Hashem received a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Purdue Ä¢¹½AV, an MSc in Engineering Mathematics, and a BSc in Communication and Electronic Engineering from Cairo Ä¢¹½AV. He completed the Senior Executive Program at Harvard Business School.
