Biography
Mingrui Liu is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at George Mason Ä¢¹½AV. Before that, Liu was a postdoc at Rafik B. Hariri Institute at Boston Ä¢¹½AV from 2020-2021, hosted by Francesco Orabona. He received his PhD in computer science from the Ä¢¹½AV of Iowa in August 2020, under the advice of Tianbao Yang. He studied at the Institute of Natural Sciences and School of Mathematical Sciences at Shanghai Jiao Tong Ä¢¹½AV. He also worked at industrial research labs, such as IBM Research AI and Alibaba DAMO Academy.
