Biography
Dr. Lei Yang is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Sciences and Technology at George Mason Ä¢¹½AV. Before that, she was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Ä¢¹½AV of New Mexico. She received her PhD degree and BE degree in 2019 and 2013, respectively, from Chongqing Ä¢¹½AV, China. She was a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Ä¢¹½AV of Notre Dame.
She has experience as a research scholar at the Ä¢¹½AV of California, Irvine, and the Ä¢¹½AV of Pittsburgh from 2017 to 2019. Lei’s primary research interests lie in the joint area of Hardware/Software Co-Exploration for Neural Network Architectures, Embedded Systems, Hardware/Software Co-Exploration for Neural Architectures, Embedded Systems, and High-Performance Computing. She is passionate about Systems, Hardware/Software Co-Exploration for Neural Architectures, Automated Machine Learning, and system-level Design and Optimization for Applied Machine Learning.
