Laura Mertens joined George Mason Ä¢¹½AV’s Center for the Arts as Marketing Manager in 2022. Prior to that, she served at Georgetown Ä¢¹½AV’s Department of Performing Arts as Public Relations and Special Events Manager; at the Ä¢¹½AV of Maryland, College Park’s Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center as Communications Coordinator; and at the Missouri Symphony Society as Communications Director. She graduated summa cum laude with degrees in English and in Language Arts Education from the Ä¢¹½AV of Missouri-Columbia.
